《食人鯊 Maneater》早在5月時推出英文版，當時已經受到玩家好評，玩家扮演一條死裡逃生的幼體公牛鯊鯊要向人類復仇，玩家先要在海中捕食不同生物長大，並可以選擇如何進化自己的身體，變成不同外觀，並在大海中探索不同地點收集物品及完成挑戰等，最有趣是還會有國家地理頻道風格的旁白不時描述進化狀態。而海中也會有其他天敵攻擊玩家，在自己弱小的時候就要逃走，長大後再回來。
《食人鯊Maneater》的新世代主機PlayStation5版本為全新開發，會有更高畫質，如支援光追蹤渲染系統，令海洋環境更為逼真，支援4K 60 FPS，加上PlayStation5的DualSense無線手掣震動加強效果，而Nintendo Switch版本就方便隨時遊玩。
