一直以來，Apple iMessage 與 Android 機的短訊功能都不能互通，但最近 Nothing 宣布將為 Nothing Phone 帶來支援 iMessage 的 Nothing Chat，讓 iMessage 正式在 Android 世界出現，相當有趣。

要在 Nothing Phone 上以 Nothing Chat 使用 iMessage 功能，背後原來使用了由 Sunbird 的非官方 iMessage 客戶端原理，用家需要在 Nothing Phone 的 App 上登入 ID，而為了釋除用家疑累將會用上端對端加密技術，確保安全。當 Nothing Phone 將推出的新 App 後，將支援個人和群組聊天、打字提示、full size 相片/影片共享等功能。
